Quartz Crystal
Votives
Many years ago I traded a drum
for a box full of some inexpensive Brazilian quartz crystal
points.
They were long but not very
attractive. I decided to create some tall crystal votive
candles for the mantle
over the fireplace.
When lit at night they really added a nice warm glow to the
room.
My experience is that crystals
bring a noticable energy into one's living space.
Before long, I had crystal
candles throughout the room.
I found that the addition of the
little tea light candles really enhanced this energy creating warm
ambience.
Other people were attracted
to my votives too.
So I experimented with the use
of more expensive clear quartz and adhesives.
Today I have crystal votive
candles from a few ounces... up to twenty pounds.
And I still have those two
original candles on my mantle.
